Piece of Mind is the second full-length release from Kid Claude, composed almost two years after his debut album Yellow (2019).

Moving through different genre inspirations and slowly escalating and transforming repetitive melodies, Piece of Mind creates a space where the listener can sketch a story of their own. Balancing dark or upbeat movements with slower and placatory interludes that puts you at ease for a moment, before pulling the rug out from underneath you.

Occasionally footwork rhythms present themselves such as in the opening track "Werk", or noticeable and aggressive changes appear like in "Kloser", resembling western hardcore music; it all held together by Kid Claude's use of distinct evolving synth textures and occasional organic samples.

The album is portrayed visually by the great 3D artist, Elliot Roberts, embodying mostly abstract but weirdly attractive objects. Relative to the album which consists of tracks different from each other, but all connected by the same similarities.
